Platform overview

Tradepod is an automated trade execution platform that connects directly to brokerage APIs in both Taiwan and US markets. Once a strategy signal fires, Tradepod routes the order through the appropriate broker connection without manual intervention.

The system runs as a persistent Python process on a cloud server, continuously monitoring positions, enforcing per-trade risk limits, and reconciling fills against the broker ledger — so traders focus on strategy, not order management.

The platform supports two independent market legs: a US leg via Interactive Brokers TWS API, and a Taiwan leg via Fubon or SinoPac broker Python SDKs. Each leg operates on its own session schedule and handles market-specific order conventions automatically.
